Oakwood Carpentry and Building Ltd was set up by Nigel Jacks, an experienced construction manager who learnt the tricks of the trade from his father and older brother before him.
The company was born as a way for Nigel to pass on the skills he had learned to his son, who was just leaving school and starting out in the industry himself.
Our family-run firm quickly developed a reputation for dedication, quality and reliability, growing to a tight-knit team of talented trade specialists in just a few short years.
